Transpiration is the process of losing excess water from the surface of leaf.

it's advantages are :-

i) Helps in continuity of rain.

ii) Helps in gaseous excess through stomatal pore.

✓ Transpiration : The process through which water present on stomata present on leaf surface gets evaporated by sun's heat.

✓ Two functions :

# It helps in cooling the plants.

# It generates a pull which causes the water and minerals absorbed by the roots to reach the leaves for the process of photosynthesis.
