Transportation is a key part of the water cycle. It is the process of the pore-like holes on the backs of leaves releasing water. This is generally for natural excreteory purposes but heat can also cause this. The water is released into the atmosphere, and helps to continue the circle that is the hydrosphere (water cycle).

Transpiration is the loss of water through stomatal pores ,this process is helpful in creating a transpirational pull to lift the water table from the soil to the top of plant ,because after the trasnpiration the concentration of water at the top of plant become less and the of water is high in soil so water can easily move from high concentration to low concentration with the help of xylem and hence it is the significance of trasnpiration
