transpiration pull –The loss of water through evaporation from the leaves must be replaces by water coming up the xylem. Water molecules are attracted to each other due to cohesion between them. These forces are strong enough to hold the molecules together in a long column.

Hii Mate here is Your Answer,

We know that plants perform variety of processes like transpiration, respiration and photosynthesis .

The plants has two kind of Transportation system that is xylem and phloem both the tissue co-ordinate with each other for the transportation of food and water .

But inorder to absorb water from Roots to other parts of the plant it required a force which can pull the water upwards towards the leaves for the purpose of photosynthesis.

This force is given by the Suction force of pulling transpiration. As in the process of transpiration, the water get evaporates through stomata. By the evaporation of tgat water ; it pulls more water from the roots through the Vascular Tissues.

The force of pulling exerted by transpiration for transporting water from the roots to the leaves is called transpiration pull.
