transpiration is the loss of water vapour in the form of water from the arieal parts of plant..
it is important because if transpiration do not occur the roots will not acquire water from the soil and hence the plant will not able to produce water during photosynthesis

Transpiration is the loss of excess water from the surface of the leaves, it is important because transpiration helps the plant reduce temperature in deserts, regulating the plant’s temperature and also keeps the plant fresh.
