■Transportation is the life process of carrying absorbed or made substances from one part of the body to other .

■Transportation of plants consists of two pathways using two different conducting tissues .

☆XYLEM transports WATER AND MINERALS obtained from the soil.

☆PHLOEM transports food prepared from the leaves to other parts of plant , i.e translocation .

■Transport of food - The products of photosynthesis are transported from leaves to other parts by using energy derives from ATP.
