the treaty of versailles  was an international peace treaty that was  signed by the countries involved at the end of world war 1.the treaty was signed by the allied powers and the german empire .it blamed and punished germany and the austro-hungarian empire for the war.the german economy was affected as a result making the country a weaker nation.
