All about trigonometry

  • Trigonometry as the name suggests is related to the sides of the triangle and the properties that are related to it.
  • it involves the ratio of different triangular sides which is right angled at one point. The ratios of the different sides that are involved in a triangle with a right angle will have a certain value  which will be related to the angles on the opposite end of the right angle.
  • There are three sides that a triangle(having right angle)  will have one would be the base the other would be the height and the one that is inclined over base and height would be called hypotenuse.
  • The ratios of the height base and hypotenuse over one another are given  the names like tangent cosine and sine and the values ratios will be in accordance with the angle between the inclination and base or inclination and height.
