Tropic movement is growth dependant movement ( it depends on growth of the plant) , directional ( It has a fixed directional ) and is very slow ( it is observed clearly only after a few days)

Eg : Climbing of climber plants around a support , movement of a plant towards sunlight

❤Hey!❤

The directional growth movements of plants due to external stimuli are called tropic movements. It can be either towards the stimuli, or away from it. For example, in case of phototropic movement, shoots respond by bending towards light while roots respond by bending away from it.

Thanks
