trypsin is one of the three principal proteinase the other two being pepsin n chymotrypsin...
in the digestive process trypsin acts with the other proteinase to break down the protein molecules....

trypsin is a serine protease from the PA clan superfamily in the digestive system of many vertebrates,where it hydrolyzes proteins.trypsin is formed in the small intestine when it's proenzym form,the trysinogen produced by the pancreas,is activated.
