Trypsin
It is an enzyme which is present in the digestive system of the vertebrates. It is produced in the pancreases. The active form is called trypsin and when it is produced it is called as trypsinogen (inactive form).
Function:
It is used to cleave the peptide bonds present in the protein. It is found in the small intestine, because proteins are bigger than other molecules which is hard for the small intestine to digest. This enzyme combines with pepsin and chymotrypsin during breakage of protein.
