Common methods used in magnetization are: Induction method. In this method, a material to be magnetized (e.g. a pin) is attached to the magnet; the pin(s) therefore on acquiring its magnetism acquires the magnetic poles. Can be achieved in two ways i.e. single stroke or double stroke.
