Tyndall effect :

The Tyndall effect is the scattering of light by particles in a colloid.

Additional Information :

◾It is named after the 19th-century physicist John Tyndall.

◾The amount of scattering depends on the :- i) frequency of the light and ii) the density of the particles.

◾Blue light scattered much more stronger than other light.

Examples :- Blue colour smoke, Water droplets are also blue and they scatter the light, Fog because it is a colloidal substance.
