What is Ultra sonic sound ?

ultrasonics, vibrations of frequencies greater than the upper limit of the audible range for humans that is, greater than about 20 kilohertz. The term sonic is applied to ultrasound waves of very high amplitudes. Many animals have the ability to hear sounds in the human ultrasonic frequency range.

What is Infrasonic sound ?

Infrasonic. Pertaining to VIBRATIONs and SOUND WAVEs whose FREQUENCY is too low to be heard as sound by the human ear, i.e. below about 20 Hz. The term is also used loosely to describe any low frequency sound.

Infra sonic sound: Sound having frequency lower than 10Hz are called infra sonic sound. Example: Earthquake and Volcanic eruption
