Ultrafiltration is a technique to separate dissolved molecules in a solution on the basis of size through pores on membrane. Larger size molecules retains on membrane , whereas smaller size molecules pass through it. This technique is used in industry and other areas to separate macromolecules such as proteins. It also occur during filtration of blood in glomerulus of kidney.
