Ultrasound » The sound which has a frequency of more than 20,000 Hz or 20kHz is called as ultrasonic sound or ultrasound.
It is inaudible to humans.
→ Ultrasound is used to clean some parts that are not in ease to reach. for example, spiral tubes.
→ Ultrasound are used to detect defects in various objects. If there is a defect in an object, the ultrasound reflect back and so, they do not reach the receiver which is placed at the other hand, thus, cracks are located.
