uncertainty principle says that we can never know precisely both the position and it's velocity at the same time.
the particle can't have both definite position and a definite velocity at the same time. the more precisely we measure the one the less accurate your measurement of the other will be. it was discovered by Werner Heisenberg and is more popularly called as Heisenberg uncertainty principle.there are also other quantities that presents the same problem.
