Being unemployed can lead to depression, low self-esteem, anxiety and other mental health issues, especially if an individual truly wants a job but can't find employment. Tension can occur, causing stressand strain on the body. Economic Issues: During unemployment, there is no income, which leads to poverty.

Its demerits are :-

1.people who are an asset for the economy turn into a liability

2.leads to wastage of manpower resource

3.feeling of despair and hopelessness among youth.

4.do not have enough money to support their families
