Uniform circular motion can be described as the motion of an object in a circle at a constant speed. As an object moves in a circle, it is constantly changing its direction. At all instances, the object is moving tangent to the circle.
ACCELERATION IN UNIFORM CIRCULAR MOTION :-
As an object travels in a circular path, it is constantly changing direction. ... As the velocity is squared, the direction has no effect so this number will always be constant as the magnitude of velocity remains the same throughout, therefore acceleration is constant in uniform circular motion.

Answer:

Uniform circular motion:

⇒ When an object trace a circular path at a constant speed the motion of the object is called uniform circular motion.

⇒ Since the velocity of the object is changing continuously along with direction. Hence, object have acceleration also,

  • \sf Acceleration=\dfrac{v-u}{t}

Explanation:

There are two types of acceleration during circular motion:

1). Centripetal acceleration: When the motion of an object is towards the centre then it is called centripetal motion & the acceleration develop during motion is called centripetal acceleration.

  • \sf a_{c}=\dfrac{v^{2}}{r^{2}}

2). Tangential acceleration: It acts along a tangent to the circular path.

  • \sf a_{T}=r\alpha
