  • When a body moves along a straight line with uniform speed or steady speed is called Uniform motion. When a body moves along a straight line but with variable or change in speed is called non-uniform motion
  • The examples of uniform motion are movements of hands of a clock, rotation and revolution of the earth, etc. 2. Non-uniform Motion. The type of motion in which the object travels with a varied speed is called Non-Uniform Motion. This means that the object does not cover the equal distance in equal time intervals.
