This type of motion is defined as the motion of an object in which the object travels in a straight line and its velocity remains constant along that line as it covers equal distances in equal intervals of time, irrespective of the duration of the time.

rsbisht513: Earth's motion around sun and moon is nearly uniform since their orbits are almost circular. The rotation of earth around it's axis is uniform within a few microseconds per day,so the speed varies by about 1.5% over a 12 month period fairly uniform but not perfect

heya.... ✌✌

:Uniform motion is simply the motion of an object that travels in a straight line at a constant velocity along that line, as it covers equal distances in equal intervals of time, irrespective of the length of time. For example; If the speed of a car is 10 m/s, it means that the car covers 10 meters in one second.More examples of Uniform motion are: Movement of hands of a watch, Rotation and revolution of the earth, Movement of the blades of a ceiling fan etc. Do you know why Oil and Water does not mix together? A body is said to be in a non-uniform motion if it travels unequal distances in equal intervals of time.Earth, moving faster than the outer planet, overtakes and passes it. ... The Sun, S, moves on the Earth-centered circle, but it does not move at a uniform rate. Its rate of motion is set by the condition that the angle a varies uniformly with time....

hope it's help you dear..... ☺
