When a truck travels in equal distances in equal intervals of time then we say that the body has got a uniform velocity. In the above example a truck is traveling at 5 miles in all the positions at A, B, and C and all in the intervals of 5 minutes each.

If a body travels equal distances in equal intervals of time along a perticular direction, the body is said to be moving with a uniform velocity.

Example: If a vehicle is moving on a circular path with uniform speed, then its velocity is said to be non-uniform, because on a circular path the direction of moving body changes along with direction of curve.
