unitary state is a state governed as a single power in which the central government is ultimately supreme and any administrative divisions exercise only the powers that the central government chooses to delegate.

✍ In unitary government there is only one Central Government and provincial governments.

✍ It is entrusted with most important functions such as home,Defence, external affairs, currency and coinage etc.

✍ In unitary government power are vested in the union government and units for granted powers from the centre.

✍ As such powers are not divided and enlisted in the constitution constitution, hence Constitution is not supreme. Here legislature occupies Central position.
