G is the constant proportionality &
universal gravitational constant
the accepted value of g was found out by Henry Cavendish and that is 6.673*10^-11 Nm^2kg^-2

hope it will help u

the force of attraction a body towards the centre of the earth is known as gravity.
- the force which keeps all the planets in orbit around the sun is due to gravity.
- the gravitational constant is also known as universal gravitational constant or Newton's constant.
- it is denkted by G.
- the value of G is 9.8 m/s^2 on the earth.
- the universal gravitational contant of 6.67408 × 10^-11 m^3 kg^-1 s^-2.

thank u
