Newton's Universal law of gravitation:-

It state that everybody in this universe attract every other body with a force which is directly Proportional to product of mass and inversely proportional to square distance between there centre.

F= \frac{Gm1m2}{{r}^{2} }

here,

G= Constant of proportionality and is called universal constant of gravitation.

value of G:-

=> In S.I system:- 6.67×10^-11 Nm^2kg^-2

=> In C.G.S System:- 6.67×10^-8dyne cm^g^-2
m1 = mass of 1st body

m2 = mass of 2nd body

r^2 = Square distance between them (masses)

F= Force of attraction between the two bodies

This law was given by Sir. Isaac Newton.

According to this law , Every body in the universe attracts every other body with some force which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to square of the distance between them..

F = \dfrac{G×m1×m2}{r^2}

Where,

G = Gravitational constant , whose value is 6.67 × 10^-11

m1 = mass of 1st body

m2 = mass of 2nd body

r² = square of the distance between the two masses

F = Force of attraction between the two bodies
