Answer:

In set theory, a universal set is a set which contains all objects, including itself. In set theory as usually formulated, the conception of a universal set leads to Russell's paradox and is consequently not allowed. However, some non-standard variants of set theory include a universal set

Universal sets contains all sets in a given context is called a universal set.

universal set is denoted by U..

For Example :- A = { 1,2,3 }, B = { 2,4,5,6 } and C = { 1,3,5,7 } Then U = { 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 }

We see that A contains ( 1,2,3) numbers ; B contains ( 2,4,5,6 ) numbers and C contains ( 1,3,5,7 ) numbers but U contains all ( 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 ) numbers. That means the universal set contains everything.
