The unorganised sector, covers most of the rural labour and a substantial part of urban labour.

But the contributions made by the unorganised sector to the national income, is very substantial as compared to that of the organised sector.

HEY MATE,

(i) An Unorganised Sector is a sector which is not registered by the government.

(ii) The unorganised sector is characterised by small and scattered units which are largely outside the control of the government.

(iii) There are rules and regulations, but these are not followed.
