With regard to job applications unsolicited application is a letter that include information of a job seeker's contact information and reasons he or she would be qualified for a company ; simply similar to a resume


In business studies an unsolicited application is an insurance coverage that a person applies for directly to the insurance company instead of going through an insurance broker or agent. Insurance companies tend to screen these unsolicited applications more thoroughly this is because the possibility of self-selection that is individuals with poorer risk seeking insurance directly/on their own instead of going through an insurance broker or agent.
