what is untouchability? why is it not good for the society?

Untouchability is the evil cause for our society . But according to article 17 untouchability is a crime. It causes a evil name for our developing country.

Untouchability is an act which is.performed against the people of different caste and religions as they feel that if they will sit a low class person the world also dignify that person as the low class only.


It is not good for the society as it differentiate amongst the people. Which hurts peoples sentiments.

After all ,the article 17 of the constitution abolished the practice of untouchability and made it an offence punishable by law.
