1) Have kindness for everyone but don't show it always because many people misuse it . It's one of our integrity on which this world goes.
Have mercy for everyone because if you would have kindness for others God will have it for you.
Kindness is very important gift of God fitted in your morals by God,what you have to do is expose it , because when you be kind , you get blessings which are the most wonderful gift given by someone.
You give a rupee or two to a beggar and get blessings of ₹100000000 , so now think who was poor you or him , he gave blessings instead of just a bronze coin , it's wonderful , just be kind and see miracles in your life,be successful and make your life easy.
2) Yeah you must have empathy so that your inner feelings may come out and the teachings would be alive and not neutral due to ignorance, it's a good way to display your emotions and feelings towards others and to glow your own personality, it's a way to show your ideal person and your thoughts which touches your heart.
3) Personal values are the most important which usually people neglects or lacks , it's the priority that increases to make yourself confident and special . It's like a mirror which shows you: " ARE YOU LEADING YOUR LIFE IN A WAY YOU WANT YOURSELF TO BE .

Just practice it and present it you would be satisfied with what you are.
