What is urbanization? where were the causes that led to urbanization?

Urbanisation means an increase in proportion of people living in urban areas compared to rural areas. An urban area is built-up area such as town or city...... People migrated from rural areas(due to the mechanism in farming) to urban areas where there was employment in the new factories
