Urinary Bladder is a hollow muscular organ in many animals that collects and store urine from the kidneys before the disposal by urination.

In human the bladder is a hollow muscular organ which is on the pelvic floor. Urine enters via ureter and exists via urethra. It can hold 300 to 500 ml before the urge to empty occurs.
Urination is controlled by the pontine micturition centre in the brainstem.
