URL:-)

URL stands for uniform resource locator. It is the full or complete address of any website over the internet.

By typing the URL of specific web page of any website we can easily go to the webpage of that website and see what we want.

lt consists of three parts

1)Domain name

2) Protocol

3) Page index

ex---)

http://cbse.nic.in/newsite/index.html

Here

1) http:// is domain name

2) cbse.nic.in/newsite/index

is protocol and

3) .html is page index .
