What is USA farming and India farming
Answers
In America on large farms it is common to sight signs like “private property, stay away”, “enter at your own risk”, “no trespassing, firearms in use”. In Indian farms, people will open their doors for strangers and welcome them in. If you are hungry, they will feed you, if you are tired they will let you rest, if you are there simply for a chat, they will still offer you water or a drink. They will never threaten you to death for trespassing.
Indian farmers live in a very close-knit community. Every one knows every one else in the village. Every social event is attended by every one else. You don't need a gps to locate any one in the community. You simply ask any person around and he will gladly walk you to your destination. This is definitely not the case in America where “individualist”culture is prevalent; either the farmer himself(owner of the huge farm business) is not staying on the property, or even if he does, he is not as well connected with other families in his area.
Indian farming is labor intensive and traditional methods of farming like plowing is used, whereas, in the US, heavy and advanced machinery is used for farming which is capital intensive. 5. Indian farming is weather dependent and farmers grow only 2-3 crops per year.
