Step One: Name your view.

Step Three: Create a page

Page Title is optional

Set the path that you want your taxonomy term menu to use as a custom path. My chosen path is portfolio/% but you can choose whatever you wish.

Adjust your display format and your items to display to your preferences.

Don't create a menu link.

Step Four: Click Continue & edit.
