What is use of formation of new cells by division of pre existing cells

the amount of cells in our body will be balanced

This is highly needed and important to form a new cell replacing the older one because every cell has limited lifespan, after which they will die and if no new cell is produced replace it, slowly the whole body would collapse.

This can be explained by a simple way of imagining that in case of no reproduction phenomena, or you can say that no younger generation is produced, then what will happen?

A similar thing will happen if there is no replacement of cells.
