Functions of testis:

Male gametes called spermatozoa are produced by the testis through the process of spermatogenesis.

The leydig cells of the seminiferous tubules of testis produces male sex hormone called testosterone. Testosterone in addition to the process of spermatogenesis also helps in the development of secondary sexual characteristics in males.

Functions of ovary:

Ova in female are produced by ovary through a process of oogenesis.

Ovary is also the source of female hormone like estrogen. Estrogen is required for the development of secondary sex characteristics in females.

hope it's helpful :-))
