vacuum packing stores food in a vacuum environment ; usually and air tight bags for the bottle. The vacuum environment deprive bacteria of oxygen needed for survival it therefor slows spoiling vacuum packing is commonly used for storing nuts it helps to reduce their loss of flavour caused by the oxidation .
