The food vacuole present in plant cell is very big when compared to the animal cell but there are more number of small vacuoles in the animal cell and only 1 in the plant cell.

[2] It Maintain internal hydrostatic pressure or turgor within the cell.
[3] The vacuole also can store water.
[4] It isolate materials that might be harmful to the cell.
