Valli develops a desire to enjoy a ride on the bus but she needs to plan meticulously to realize her dream. She has to curtail her expenses so that she can save enough money for two-way fair. She also has to make the journey during the time when her mother takes afternoon nap.She also listens to conversations of frequent travellers and occassionally asks them some questions herself.Thus collecting all necessary information.

valli was an eight year old girl.she lived in a village .she used to see a bus pass by her village daily.She wished to travel in the bus.The bus daily went to the nearest

town.valli watched the bus regularly.It developed in her a keen desire to go to the town by bus.

details about the journey to the town by bus.She also collected money for the fare.

She saved money by not spending on etables and toys.
