a=9+2.6^1/2……………(1).

b=57/a or a.b =57………..(2).

b=57/a= 57/(9+2.6^1/2).

b=57×(9–2.6^1/2)/(9+2.6^1/2)×(9–2.6^1/2).

b=57×(9–2.6^1/2)/(81–24).

b=57×(9–2.6^1/2)/57.

b=9–2.6^1/2………………….(3).

On adding eq (1) & (3).

a+b=18……………………(4).

a^2+b^2=(a+b)^2 -2.ab.

a^2+b^2=(18)^2–2×57 = 324–114=210 . Answer.
