→angle y = angle COD (vertically opposite angle)

angle y = 110°

→angle p + angle y = 180° (linear pair angle)

angle p =180°-110°

angle p =70°

→ line AB and line CD are parallel lines,

& line AC and line BD are transversel lines.

therefore, angle B and angle D are alternate interior angle.

therefore angle B = angle D = 40°

angle D = angle x (as shown in figure)

therefore, angle x = 40°.
