A vascular bundle is a part of the transport system in vascular plants. The transport itself happens in vascular tissue, which exists in two forms: xylem and phloem. Both these tissues are present in a vascular bundle, which in addition will include supporting and protective tissues.

Some important points about vascular bundles are as given below:-

1. It is mostly found in the ground tissue.

2. Size of it depends on where it lies so in this the bundle while lies in the centre is bigger in comparison of the vascular bundle present in the peripheral side.

3. It is found in the oval or we can say that it is of eff shaped.

4. The bundle which lies in the centre will be lesser in amount.

5. But in the case of bundles in the periphery will be more as compared to the centre.

6. Sclerenchymatous bundle sheath covers the vascular bundle so it becomes stronger so it is known as fibro vascular bundle.
