The concept of vascular bundle is as follows:

  • In vascular plants, a vascular bundle is a part of transport system.
  • In the vascular tissue where the transport system happens, has two forms. These are phloem and xylem.
  • This also includes protective and supporting tissues.
  • Water and nutrients are transferred by Xylem, organic molecules are by phloem and in growth of plant cambium is involved.
