Vasectomy -it is a permanent method of birth control -in males, a part of vas deferens is cut off and then tied

Tubectomy -it is permanent method of birth control

-in females a part of Fallopian tubedis cut off and then tied

Vasectomy

*It is reversible sterilisation technique applicable to male

*Two vas deferens are given cuts to remove small pieces and tied

*It prevents the passage of sperms from testes into semen this has side effects too.

Tubectomy

*It is reversible sterilisation technique applicable to females

*The two fallopian tube are given cuts and tied

*It prevents the passage of ova from ovaries to uterus

*This has side effects too.
