Here is your answer.

Vector

vector,in physics, a quantity that has both magnitude and direction. It is typically represented by an arrow whose direction is the same as that of the quantity and whose length is proportional to the quantitys magnitude. Although a vector has magnitude and direction, it does not have position. That is, as long as its length is not changed, a vector is not altered if it is displaced parallel to itself.

Positive vector

Two vectors are said to be opposite to each other, if they have the same magnitude but opposite direction.

I hope my answer is help you.

I want it to be simple so that you can understand easily.

Vector is a quantity with both magnitude and direction. RAM WALKED FOR 5KM TOWARDS EAST is an example. Velocity is an example.

Whereas, scalar is a quantity with magnitude but no direction.

RAM WALKED FOR 5KM is an example. Speed is an example.

Hope it helps!
