ANSWER :-

VECTOR QUANTITY :- QUANTITY WHICH REQUIRED MAGNITUDE AS WELL AS DIRECTION ARE CALLED VECTOR QUANTITY

E.G. :- SPEED, ACCELERATION etc.

SCALAR QUANTITY :- THOSE QUANTITY WHICH REQUIRED ONLY MAGNITUDE ARE CALLED SCALAR QUANTITY

E.G.. :- MASS , DISTANCE

Scaler Quantity:-

• It is a physical quantity which includes magnitude only. While direction is not taken into account.

• One dimensional quantity.

• It changes according to change in magnitude.

• Example of scaler quantity- Energy, temperature, speed etc.

Vector Quantity:-

• Vector quantity includes both magnitude as well as direction.

• Multidimensional quantity.

• It changes with magnitude and direction both.

• Example of vector quantity- velocity, force, momentum etc.
