According to the physics of intermediate board of junior education:
Vector is a physical quantity which has magnitude as well as a direction
for example :displacement is a vector quantity

to let  you know more information about this topic there is another physical quantiy named scalar quantity
Scalar quantity: it is  physical quantity which has magnitude but NO DIRECTION
EXAMPLE :distance
