vector product is the perpendicular function of  tow dimention 
torque is an example of vector product 
t=R×F
means the perpendicular component of  dimension  R= perpendicular distance 
and F= perpendicular force acting on that body 
and torque is also called the vectorial product of perpendicular distance and force
