it's your ans-

Vegetative propagation

Vegetative propagation is a mode of asexual reproduction. The vegetative parts of the plants like leaf, roots, stem and leaf give rise to a new individual. The detached part of the plant has cells enough to divide and produce a new individual.

There are two methods of  vegetative propagation

1. Natural method

2. Artificial method

Natural methods

Natural vegetative propagation occurs when an axillary bud grows into a lateral shoot and develops its own roots (also known as adventitious roots). Plant structures allowing natural vegetative propagation include bulbs, rhizomes, stolons and tubers.

Artificial methods

Cutting – In this, a portion of a plant is cut and planted in the soil, usually a stem or a leaf. e.g rose

Grafting – In this, the cutting from some other plant is added to the plant stem embedded in the soil. e.g. mango, citrus

Layering – In this, the stem of the plant is bent to the ground and covered with soil. e.g. apple, jasmine, strawberry
