vegetative reproduction aur vegetative propagation- it is a form of asexual reproduction in which the vegetation parts of (plants root stem leaves ) develop with a new individual. a new plant can grow either naturally or artificially from vegetative parts of the plant.

when plants reproduce by their own we use the term vegetative reproduction and when human beings propagate plants from parts of the plant we use the term vegetative propagation.

Vegetative propagation is a form of asexual reproduction in plants.In this type of reproduction any vegetative part of plant such as leaf, stem, bud, root develops into the new plant under suitable conditions. The new plant thus formed is genetically identical to the parent.
e.g.1.in guava and sweet potato, it is carried out by root
